Early Years

YFNED has partnered with the Martin Family Initiative (MFI) to provide support to families of Indigenous children from 0 to 5 years old.

What we do

Early Years Visitors provide home visits and support to honour new parents, recognizing them as their children's first teachers. Visitors organize group activities such as drop-ins, sewing circles, programming and workshops. Visitors walk alongside new parents until their child enters school.
